It is simple to connect the unit to your 910R system. Simply plug the cable from the power supply into the the 910R base station and run the other cable (shown with a red band in above photo) to the external antenna.
The amplifier itself is housed in the high performance external antenna. The antenna is a little over 1 meter high (about 3.5 feet) and is a one piece OMNI directional unit with a thickness similar to a broom stick. The elements you see in the photo above form the antenna's ground plane. The fact that amplifier is housed within the antenna is beneficial because the signal is being amplified at the best possible point. If the signal were amplifier at the base station a 50% signal loss would be realized by the time the signal reached the external antenna. Therefore our amplifier increases the communication range of the "stock" 910R base station by 1647%.
