ACS is excited to introduce what we think will quickly become one of our most popular products, the SX30 data terminal. This device, which works in conjunction with our 258R or 328RR long range cordless phone, is designed for continuous reliable data transmission. Now you can use your fax machine, credit card terminal and other devices in remote locations. You can even hook up your computer modem for e mail and slow speed internet. After extensive testing under a variety of circumstances, we are confident that the SX30 will fulfill your demanding requirements. Previously a product such as this cost $4,000 minimum. The SX30 is available starting at $600. 
Almost all long range cordless phones are designed primarily for voice transmission. Some of these phones may have a built in RJ-11 telephone jack, but this jack is designed for the use of an extension phone, not a data device. Data is a lot more difficult to transmit than voice, and this is the reason that most of the phones on the market can not transmit data (even though they may have an RJ-11 jack). The SX30 is designed primarily for transmitting data. We have tested this device over a variety of conditions and have found it to be very reliable.
The SX30 works up to 100km from the telephone line (to acheive this range a G3 25W base amplifier is needed or enjoy 70km with a G2 7W base amplifier). It may be configured to work at a fixed site location, such as an isolated residence, or it may be used in a vehicle (we recommend a stationary vehicle for best results). The SX30 can also transmit voice; simply plug any telephone into its RJ-11 jack. We have several packages available to suit your requirements and your budget.

The above diagram shows a possible system configuration. Any of the 3 remote sites (the handset, the car, or the house) are able to utilize the same phone line. Data, as well as voice, may be transmitted from either the mobile data link or the fixed site data link. The handset is used for voice only.
If you already own our 258R or 328RR long range cordless phone, simply add the SX30 for reliable data transmission. If you do not own the 258R or 328RR, let us configure a complete system for you at a special package price.
Packages are available with fixed site OMNI directional or YAGI antennas, low loss cable, car kits, and more. The SX30 is manufactured exclusively for ACS, and is available at special introductory savings. |
